A Website for Everyone

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Dr. Lionella Moraes wants every visitor to be able to read this website and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use. The site is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as its reference.

What has been done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Photographs of Dr. Lionella carry text descriptions for screen readers.
  • Headings, lists, form labels and landmarks are marked up so assistive technology can navigate them.
  • Animations switch off when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • The decorative gold cursor appears only when a mouse is in use, and never replaces the keyboard focus outline.

Known limits

  • Some small uppercase labels use fine lettering as part of the visual identity. If you find any text hard to read, your browser's zoom will enlarge it.
  • The enquiry form hands your message to WhatsApp or your email app, which have their own accessibility features.
